Biskra University Letters and Languages French Language Department in collaboration with
the SEPRADIS research laboratory,

organised “The Pedagogical Coordinator of Distance
Education for Quality Education - Reality and Prospects” national forum, on 30 April 2025,
attended by the faculty officials and administrators, and teachers and researchers from
different Algerian universities. Professor Khaled Krid, the laboratory director, started the
event with a statement highlighting the subject relevance and new challenges posed by the
Algerian university because of rapid technological and pedagogical developments. He pointed
out that distance education is no longer a temporary alternative, but a permanent trend that
requires a clear vision and effective mechanisms. Similarly, Professors Ourida Haddouche
and Meriem Haddad, the forum organisers, reviewed the meeting objectives and main themes,
revolving around the pedagogical coordinator role in ensuring the training quality to
overcome the difficulties inherent to distance education application and improving
pedagogical and digital skills. The Forum witnessed a wide participation, in person and
remote, of teachers from different universities, adding discussions dynamism.
