Run by Biskra University Rector, Pr Mahmoud Debabeche, and supervised by the Ministry of
Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Student Life Directorate,

Biskra University City hosted the quarterfinals of the Algerian University Mini-Football Cup second edition,
from 8 to 11 May 2025. In a spirit of hospitality and organisation, the participating
delegations received an excellent welcome. The Biskra and Chetma University Services
Directorate, under the supervision of Mr Soltani Chafei, put its entire administrative staff at
the disposal of the representing university delegations from Chlef, Laghouat, Oum El
Bouaghi, Algiers 2, Djelfa, Saida, M’sila and Tissemsilt. The office of the Biskra Wilaya
University Sports Federation, headed by Hakim Henano, was responsible of the event
technical side, the technical meeting organisation, the lots drawing, the jury formation, the
teams ranking and the competitions’ progress detailed reports preparation. The official
competitions began on Friday 9 May 2025 in a sporting atmosphere. This event was jointly
organised by the Sub-Directorate of Scientific, Cultural and Sports Activities of the Biskra
University, the University Services Directorate of Chetma, the University Sports National
Federation, Biskra University Youth and Sports Amateur Sports Club Directorate.
