To embody the twinning agreement settled between the University of Biskra and the Russian State Pedagogical University of Naberezhnye Chelny, and with the aim at strengthening and expanding ways of partnership and academic cooperation in the sector of higher education and scientific research, the Director of the Russian University Alfinour Galiakberova and her accompanying delegation, made a visit to the Grand Lecture Hall of the University of Biskra on Thursday, September 21, 2023. They were welcomed by the University Director, Professor Mahmoud Dababeche, and by university officials and executives, including the Secretary-General, the Deputy Directors, and the Deans of the Faculties and the Director of the Institute.

  With a distinguished team consisting of two students Sarah Abdelhafidh and Bouchana Hicham, and under the supervision of Professor Laid Kahloul, the University of Biskra was crowned first place in the first edition of the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition organized in the Wilaya of Chlef with its ‘Smart Waste Sorter’ project.
